Madison Rae Galli
Happy Camper, "Catch a Wave" Respite
Weekend
Eighteen years old on March 24, 2010!
What's up with Madison these days? Madison is enjoying her third year in of her year-round
school in Elkton, Maryland. She attends Shorehaven, a wonderful
residential school that offers a well-staffed group home for Madison and an amazing
curriculum that includes behavioral specialists and one-on-one
supports.
This year, she has enjoyed field trips to museums and parks. She
continues to swim and bowl has started some vocational training.
Camps and respite programs continue to be favorite activities.
She loves Camp Greentop,
an overnight summer camp beside Camp David in the
Catoctin Mountains, and three-day Respite Weekends
sponsored by The League for People with Disabilities. In September,
the "Catch-a-Wave" weekend brought a big smile from
Madison, always a treasure!
Thank you for your support of our family as we move through both Madison's successes and her continuing
challenges. We will honor
Madison
